On opening the box the gold color of the phone immediately caught my eye, this is probably why the phone was created in such a color. The phone has the same form factor as the original RAZR except for a few small changes, firstly the M on the out side of the phone now glowed in blue when on a call which is a pretty cool feature as it stops people from irritating you when you are on the phone. Another interesting addition is the new design of the keypad. The keypad is now gold as well and the curves are slightly different. The backlight color of the keypad is also different, this time it is a dark blue as oppose to a regular blue. Its start up tone is indeed different to that of the regular RAZR as well as its menu’s which are gold as well. It seems that Motorola and Dolce & Gabbana went with an overall gold theme for this phone. Another interesting addition to the phone is its capabilities regarding music players. It has Motorola’s new music player which Motorola is using to replace iTunes used briefly in their hugely unsuccessful ROKR phone. It is unsure why Motorola has stopped using iTunes but skeptics believe it is to do with Apple not wanting to have any involvement with Motorola after the flop of the ROKR.

Decadent face plates (I love it!). What’s with the finer things in life being photographed on a blah carpet? At least use a Porsche or Ferrari as a backdrop-like I’ve seen the pros do.

there are TWO types of motorola dolce & gabbana.
one is with a unique serial number n the other is without.
i noticed,that the one with serial number has the color combination of black and gold,and the other has silver n gold.
Im not sure whether its the picture quality or maybe i suffer from color blindness.
can someone clear this little confusion of mine?

This is not a real Dolce and Gabbona razr. You all are being fooled by a cheap fake. This is a black razr V3ithat had the casing replaced with a cheap knock off Dolce and gabbona keypad and casing. The real Dolce and Gabonna razr is not black and gold but silver and gold. I recomend purchasing the new gold razr v3xx it is by far better.
