The Worlds Most Expensive Vodka

Diaka Vodka, is the world’s most expensive vodka. The vodka comes in a bottle made of crystal. The filtration process of the vodka is why it is so exclusive. The Diaka Vodka is made in Poland where they use nearly one hundred diamonds of up to one carat in size, to filter the spirit resulting in vodka with unsurpassed clarity and smoothness.

I might try it, since it IS the “most expensive” vodka.

This is the triumph of marketing over even a shred of common sense. When last I checked, the diamond is not porous, will neither absorb nor adsorb impurities, and imparts no flavor to anything that passes over, under, beside it - but not through it.

I could believe a luxury vodka maker who markets a vodka filtered through a ten-foot column packed with kittens and puppies sooner than I’d believe this. . .this. . .brilliant marketing. Oh well.

Actually diamonds are excellent filters–they separate fools from their money.

You idiots. What do you think they filter any liquor with. They use activiated carbon. I grabs all the impurites. Not any of the liquide. Its the same stuff that’s in a Brita filter. Diamonds are just a more expensive form of charcoal but do the same thing.

    In response to Ben….
YOU FOOL !!!!!!!!!! You don’t deserve that name !!! Diamonds are a super compressed form of carbon bonded atoms that a created under immense pressures ( many many atmostpheres ) over an incredible amount of time and using an extreme amount of heat and energy.
The pressure used to create these marvels of nature is so intense that it compacts the atoms into a NON PORUS crystaline form !!! Thats why diamon is the hardest known material to man. IT DOES NOT ABSORB OR FILTER ANYTHING !!!!!!! ITS A GYMIC just like the good people above you have pointed out.

Stolichyana Elit - a real Russian vodka
Chopin - a real Polish potato vodka
Armadale - a real Scottish vodka

These three are among the best in the world, which counts more in my book than “most expensive” any day. These are truly cheap, even the Elit, the most expensive on the list, is only about $60(US) for 750ml.

But all three of these are made for drinking, not for mixing; for that Skyy, Finlandia, or anything would work…

There is no need to distill vodka using diamonds. It is there purely to impress a the consumer. Ever heard of Chopin, Ketel One, Belvedere,or even Zyr?.. These vodkas got away without a gay crystal bottle or the use of diamonds in the distilling process, and I think many would agree they are more dynamic and smoothe than this crap…
