Bang & Olufsen Releases BeoLink Wireless 1 System

Bang & Olufsen has released the BeoLink Wireless 1 System. It is a wireless music system which can deliver CD quality audio wirelessly to up to 21 different rooms within a 90 foot range. It uses the same industry standard 2.4 ghz frequency range but has excellent transmitters which allow for crystal clear audio to be heard wirelessly. It ingeniously is backward compatible with all of Bang & Olufsen’s speakers so they can all be connected together. To control the system you can use the same Beo4 remote as before. Once again Bang & Olufsen demonstrate their excellent ability to integrate all their products together.

Sonos is a way better solution — it works with 32 rooms — all integrated in a mess network. It is the most consumer-friendly solution out there.

I bought a condo completely wired with Bang and Olufsen speakers built in throughout. All rooms have wall mounted remote recievers however I will not be using it until I can hook up my iPod or at the very least my Mac Computer. They have beautiful expensive systems but they had better get into the 21st century if they want me as a customer. AM/FM/CD players are not enough

I’m trying to get some specs info to see if this would work with my Olive Musica (http://www.olive.us)
It supports wifi, but as I’m new to all the wireless tech stuff, I was a little unsure what else might be necessary for compatibility.
