BMW Makes Mille Miglia Concept Coupè

BMW has unveiled its Mille Miglia Concept Coupè in time for the Mille Miglia auto race which started yesterday. The concept is based on the classic BMW 328 Mille Miglia Touring Coupè, which won the Mille Miglia in 1940. The car is made from carbon fiber, not aluminum as one may suspect. Unfortunately not much else is known about it.

Out-friggin’-standing! I see many Chris Bangle cues in it’s surface development - though the concept seems more like a J Mays moonlighting project. Nice to see another auto manufacturer playing the “heritage” design card so well!

Well there do doubt that the car looks amazing. From the front to the sides to back…. it looks very neat. Especially the front headlights on top of the hood is a killer! Very nice work.

Well a nice car but not like the ones ive seen cadillac pull off. Those cars are dead back in the 1960’s. For example. The Cien and the Sixteen look like they’re ready for production. This car is just an image.. Its never gonna be in the hands of the consumer/ Guaranteed!. But still not bad to look at!
