Ford released the 450-plus horsepower Ford Shelby Cobra GT500 car at the New Year International Auto Show March 23 this year. Designed in the unmistakable image of the Shelby Mustangs of the 1960s, the Shelby Cobra GT500 combines Ford’s SVT’s (Special Vehicle Team) modern engineering with the unique performance that made the original GT500 the king of the road. The car is due to hit dealerships this month in extremely limited quantities.
