Bentleys parent company Volkswagen is working on a SUV based on the same platform as the Volkswagen Touareg, Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7. The Bentley SUV could feature the same W12 engine as the Bentley Continental GT or a more conservative V8 alike to the one featured in the Arnage. The vehicle could prove more popular than the Cayenne as the Continental GT is such a big hit. Another Volkswagen company, Lamborghini is also working on an SUV(they produced an SUV called the LM002 in the late 1980’s) but is still several years away. According to some sources the Bentley SUV could be named the Cross Continental but is unconfirmed. The image above is an artists rendering.

It wont be released at the Frankfurt motor show this year as there\’s no Show for passenger cars this year. This year it\’s commercial vehicles.
yo what the heacdk thats not something you see eavery day me im a relly big bently fan and i think its not to nice i personely do not like it and whould not spin 100,000 on this car also i could just buy a porch cayne turbo which is like 60,000 and look kinda the same but a little better but if this message was sent to bently i whould hop ethry know that it will not sell no one whould wanna buy a car that looks ugle

Great looking automobile. Tell me more about the safety and the quality of this car. I would not like to see the Bently name tarnish with the name of VW in the same sentence. Please allow the name Bently to be a stand alone company.
i think that this suv should be made could make a very big difference for bently and i think it would be a great suv. if it comes out i will be sure to buy it.

Bentley’s are for old people (or nouveau riche) with no taste and who can’t drive, they (the cars) are ugly, heavy, even the cabin is small although the car is so huge. If you want fast get a lambo, ferrari or a porsche, style get a vintage Rolls or aston, comfort get a S-class or a Vogue. But the Bentley’s try to do all of these and it isn’t pretty what comes out.
So with a SUV version its going to be even heavier and uglier, look at what porsche came out with, the cayenne.
