The 'strengths' of carbon fiber are its incredibly high strength to weight ratio. 44 layers of carbon fiber!?!?! I personally would rather just get the Mies chairs that inspired it! check out the 'carbon chair' by marcel wanders (moooi) weighing in at only a couple of feathers.
