It appears that the phone will most likely be a new mid range phone designed to bridge the gap between the Vertu Ascent and the Vertu Signature Line. The Vertu Constellation will be available in gold or stainless steel casings with a leather back and a ceramic keypad. The keypad is crafted from the same scratch resistant ceramic used by the Space Shuttle (and the Chanel J12 Collection), the keys are laser engraved giving them a very unique look when backlit.
