Ermenegildo Zegna have released a rather special item for their Zegna Sport brand’s Spring/Summer 2006 collection called the iJacket. The Zegna Sport iJacket as the name hints to is in fact iPod compatible. The iJacket has iPod controls built into the left sleeve allowing the user to store the iPod inside the jacket and control it by touching the buttons on the sleeve. The jacket will be available in select Zegna stores worldwide in spring 2007.
I am a fan of Wearable Electronics and more than exited that now also top brands like Zenga hoin in and offer clothing that integrate usefull function like that of the iPod controlls. It’s a trend I hope to see more off it in 2007.
Up to now I have only experience with an iPod enabled Backpack (the just released Nike CORE) and it is …. fantastic, cool and practical.
