The origninal Patek Philippe Nautilus was designed by the highly acclaimed watch designer Gérald Genta. This new version sticks to the same basic design but adds some extra features. The 5712 features moon phase indication, date and power reserve indication. The 5712 movement is also self winding making it a practical every day watch. The watch is made of brushed white gold giving it a look similar to that of stainless steel. The watch is also available in brushed rose gold, the strap is made of alligator skin.
