We have already written about Wally ski’s but now Chanel have created these unique Ski’s for their Fall Winter 2006 Chanel Sport collection. The ski’s have a wooden core but are covered in Chanel’s signature quilted leather. Although these are designed to be used it is unknown how they will perform on snow and whether the leather will deteriorate due to the amount of snow that it will come into contact with.

I have been skiing since I was two and these skis are very cool but very impractical… first of all they are way to short, they are supposed to be at least chin level. Although it would be cool to have a pair of Chanel quilted skis, I think it would be wise to stick to a brand that was designed for performance and not for show.
As a designer I love the idea, and what a sexy picture! But as an avid skier I think they should have done their research…those look like snowboard boots, and yes, the skis are way too short. I do like that they chose twin-tips…that’s a step in right direction.
Ok people. Im sure that isnt the ACTUAL length of the skis and this is purely for looks. And im also sure that a high end brand like Chanel would have done their research and made a decent pair of skis for the price they will cost im sure!
how do you know that the skis were meant for this model….. they could have been for anyone…. and if you look at the boots they dont really look like they are for the skis… maybe they aren’t.. hav you thought about that???? didn’t think soo. i think that you would were actual ski boots… and if your such an avid skier you would know that shorter skis appeal to some people. all this needs are some poles, and goggles.

like these go so well with my black range rover sport. i didn’t actually use them on the snow but i made a cute as snow angel. all the boys loved them in the cafe and they stared at my buff butt. 10/10 for performance and turning heads. i want matching white ones for the summer. and mini versions for my dog which is a cute chihuahua.

Being a skier at quite a high level, I would recommend anyone thinking of buying these skis to speak to someone in their local ski shop first.
But, I suppose the target audience for these planks is people with more money than sense, so buy away kids
Just stay away from my parts of the mountain.
