Bentley Java Concept

As with the Bentley Dominator this Bentley Java concept car has been long forgotten. The Bentley Java was a concept car introduced during the Geneva Motor Show in 1994. The car’s front styling is radically different from any Bentley at the time and was designed by Graham Hull in conjunction with Design Research Associates. The top speed of the car is 273 kph and was powered by a V8 with twin turbochargers. The car never went into production however the Sultan of Brunei owns one of the original concepts. The car is seen by many as a forerunner to the Bentley Continental GTC.

This wasn’t so much the precursor to the Continental GT as it was the precursor to the Azure.

And it’s a darned shame they didn’t haul this car out for inspiration for the Continental GT.
