Bentley Hunaudières Concept

The Bentley Hunaudières Concept was released back at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show just one year after Volkswagen purchased Bentley. The Hunaudières concept was intended to be a supercar capable of excellent track results(It is named after the famous Hunaudières strait on the Le Mans race track), have an impressive design and most importantly road legal. The Hunaudières is powered by a W16 8 liter engine able to propel the car along at 350 kph. The most interesting thing about the Hunaudières is its extremely close resemblance to the Bugatti Veyron. Both cars were unveiled in the same year and both companies are owned by Volkswagen which may explain the resemblance, however back in 1999 the Veyron was equipped with a W18 engine. Below are some more images which show the resemblance very clearly. Although the Hunaudières never went into production the popular Continental GT was partially built on its platform.
