The world renowned Plaza hotel in New York has reopened after nearly three years of renovations. The Plaza hotel is now run by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and has only 282 rooms and 102 suites with the majority of the hotel being apartments managed by Fairmont. The completely redecorated hotel stays close to its original design from when the hotel first opened in 1907 just over 100 years ago.
