The Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory dates back to 1755 and they have since the late eighteenth century held a tradition of making chrysanthemum’s out of porcelain. The latest Nymphenburg porcelain chrysanthemum is made of more than three petals with each filament and delicate stem applied individually and shaped into lifelike blossoms at Nymphenburg’s modelling shop. Only twenty five porcelain chrysanthemums have been made and come in a silk lined wooden box.
